Admin History

The practice of the firm was to tie their working papers into bundles, attach to this a ticket with the client's name, and place the whole on racking in an alphabetical sequence.

As many of these original bundles (with tickets) have survived, the original arrangement has been adhered to in this list, but incorporating many loose papers found on the premises which may not have originally formed part of the sequence. The identification of the client in such cases is therefore by no means certain.
