Description

Conveyance from Charles Cresswell late of Worcester but now of Melbourne, Australia, gentleman, at the direction of James Cresswell of Newland, co, Worcs., farmer, to John Cresswell of the same, farmer to John Lane of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, and his trustee, Job Hobbins of Shottery, law-stationer, of a stable, yard and garden in Bull Lane in Stratford-upon-Avon, late in the tenure of Dr. Thomas Thomson, but now untenanted, reciting: 13 April 1846: conveyance from Thomas Cresswell, since deceased, to the said James Cresswell and Charles Cresswell, of (amongst other things) the above premises, charged with £60 due to the said James and Charles Cresswell, in trust to sell or mortgage and, from the proceeds, to discharge the said debt and pay the residue to his sons, James and John Cresswell (which said sum had since been paid off) : 17 July 1854: conveyance from James and John Cresswell to John Lane of the said premises, for £35. Map annexed showing the adjoining properties to be held by John Lane and Peter Worrall.
