Will of John Nashe of Bicester, oxon. Body to be buried in churchyard of Bicester; 4d to the 'mother church of Oxford'. Wife Marjorie to have leases and tenements for her life, then daughter Jone Appletree to have house and half yard land at Wretchwick held by lease from Prior and Convent of Bicester; grandson John Coxe, son of testator's daughter Clemens Coxe to have house that testator lives in and house in occupation John Jakes; after death of wife Marjorie, daughter Clemens Coxe to have half goods, 2 cows and 10 sheep and Thomas Coxe, son of Clemens to have a cow and 2 sheep. Wife Marjorie sole executrix. Witnesses: William Hancocke, Thos. Martyns, John Wynbroke, John Merkoke. Proved 18 July 1556 at Oxford.
