Letter from John Ludford to Joseph Hill: is not an executor of the late Earl; quite willing to have Macartney released if Lord Donegall wishes it. Macartney was arrested a the suit of the late earl over the rents of the Dunbrody and Belfast estates. As gaurdian of the Earl the affair is nothing to do with him, but is willing to help.
