Hugh Clopton School for Girls, Stratford-upon-Avon

Records of the Hugh Clopton School for Girls, dating mainly from the year of its construction (1939) until 1958 when the 'grammar' stream (which had been largely accommodated at Shottery Manor from 1952) was re-established as the Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls. Mainly comprises photographs, school certificates, copies of the School Magazine, exercise books and other ephemera, much of it arranged for an exhibition in 1999 at a re-union of former pupils.
