Description

Lease and release, reciting nos. 15-16, the release being: i) a conveyance from William Carter of Ingotstone, co. Essex., surgeon, only son of William Carter late of Stratford-upon-Avon, tailor (who died intestate in September 1808), with the consent of Richard Heath of Salford Priors, gentleman, to Thomas Adams of Stratford-upon-Avon, grocer, for £720 (£300 to Richard Heath and £420 to William Carter) of a messuage in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, late in the tenure of William Carter deceased, and now of Thomas Adams ii) an assignment from Richard Heath, with the consent of William Carter, and at the direction of Thomas Adams, to Thomas Tibbeth Smith of Stratford-upon-Avon 'upholder', of a term of 2000 years created by a mortgage of 18 March 1806 [no. 15); to hold the same in trust for Thomas Adams to attend the freehold and inheritance.
