Description

Conveyance by lease and release from William Sheldon of Stratford-upon-Avon, plumber and glazier (surviving trustee of the will of the late William Barnacle of the same, basket maker), with the consent of John Barnacle, baker, Elizabeth Barnacle, spinster, Robert Guy, tailor, and Mary his wife, Joseph Barnacle, basket-maker, and George Barnacle, basket-maker, all of Stratford-upon-Avon (which said John, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph and George are the only surviving children of William Barnacle), to Joseph Barnacle, for £60, of a newly erected messuage in Swine Street [Ely Street], built on the eastward part of the site of a messuage (which passed under the will of William Barnacle to William Sheldon as trustee for the testator's children) late in the tenure of William Satchwell and since of William Barnacle; which newly erected messuage is bounded on the west by a messuage newly erected by Robert Guy, and on the east by a messuage belonging to William Bourton in the tenure of Richard Blundell; and the said Joseph Barnacle to enjoy the use of a passage between the two newly erected houses.
