Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Joseph Mayo, late of London, but now of Moreton-in Marsh, wheelwright (son of John Mayo late of the same) to William Tindale of Stratford-upon-Avon, Officer of Excise, for £20, of a messuage in Wrather Market, alias Rother Market, late in the tenure of Thomas Williams but now of William Tindale and adjoining a messuage on the south late in the tenure of Samuel Winter, maltster, but now of John Hamp; which said messuage was part of the estate of the said John Mayo and bequeathed to the said Joseph Covenant by Mary Sheldon of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow, to produce title deeds as follows to the house in Rother Street, she having purchases from Joseph Mayo a messuage in Wood Street and having been given title deeds relating to both houses; i) 14 and 15 September 1758: conveyance from Thomas Sale to Hannah Sale, his mother ii) 27 and 28 July 1764: mortgage to Thomas Snow 29 and 30 May 1771: conveyance to John Mayo
