Conveyance from Thomas Smith, late of Alcester, then of Cheltenham, but now of Edgbaston, esquire, and Charles Pidcock of Worcester, esquire, (trustees for the sale of the land of Edmund Battersbee) to Thomas Hewins of Stratford-upon-Avon, carpenter, for £70, of a parcel of land in Old Stratford (once forming part of Sheffields Close, later known as Dog Meadow), bounded on the north by Ryland Street, on the south by land belonging to the vendors, on the east by premises of John Busby and on the west by College Street, and measuring 56' 6" in width and 75' in length.
