Description

Gift with warranty from Richard Brun to Thomas Derlent' chaplain of six acres of land in Cornl' lying nearest to the lands of Peter de Pec according to the metes and bounds; to hold the same of the said Richard to the said Thomas, his heirs and assigns, or to whomever he should wish to sell it, except a religious house, rendering annually 2 shillings according to the usage of Cornley; and for this the said Thomas gives three marks. Witnesses: Dom Thomas de Okevill, Robert de Rictu', John de Barre, Richard de Barre, Reginald son of Nicholas, Henry ?Lambbe, Roger Falke, Thomas the smith (fabro), William Ruffo, Thomas Falke, and others. Tag, seal lost. Endorsed: i) Cornleye ii) Carta Ricardi Brun facta Thome de Stenton' capellano de vi acris terre in Corleye ut patet infra iii) Terra ecclesie de Corley.
