Description

Gift with warranty from John de Langeleyeknight to Hugh de Copston' of Coventr' merchant, of a messuage with houses built thereon and all other appurtenances which he had in Smythesfordestrete in Coventr' lying between the messuage of Henry de Pollesworth' and the messuage of Roger de Cundulm' in breadth and extending in length from the highway to the land of the Master of the Hospital of St. John of Coventr'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee, for due and customary service and rendering annually to the said John 7 shillings (4 terms) and suit of court in Coventr'; and for this the said Hugh gives 6 marks.
