Description

Further charge, to secure £3000, of the manors of Maxstoke Priory c in Warwickshire, to John Conyers, Middle Temple, esq., reciting assignment of mortgage by Sir John Cope to Conyers, 1 December 1710 to secure £5000 Endorsed 21 February 1767 with reconveyance of the freehold by John Conyers, Coppes Hall, Essex, esq., son of Edward, who was son and sole executor of John Conyers the mortgagee. Recites that sums due were paid by Edward, Lord Leigh, in the lifetime of John the elder, but no reconveyance made.
