Copy succession duty account in respect of the succession to real property of Henry Charles Knight of Preston Bagot clerk on the death of his father Robert Knight, who died 5 January 1855, derived from Robert earl of Catherlough under will dated 11 February 1772, delivered by John Bullar and William Frederick Beadon esquires, trustees having the administration of the estates under an indenture of conveyance dated 5 April 1855 between the said H.C. Knight, C.R. Knight, William Parke and the said John Bullar and W.F. Beadon. Description of the property: (1) The Barrels estate in the town of Henley-in-Arden and parishes of Wootton Wawen, Studley, Tanworth and Beaudesert co. Warwick and Oldberrow co. Worcs. consisting of the mansion house with woods and plantations, 13 farms and 19 smaller holdings containing c. 3044 acres. Saleable value £108,464. Annual value, £3273. (2) A portion of the impropriate tithe rentcharge of Ullenhall commuted in 1844 at the sum of £383, 2s. 0d., a portion of which (£317 per annum) was then merged in the rents paid by the several tenants of farms and holdings, leaving the remainder payable to the owner of Barrels by other proprietors in Ullenhall. Value in 1854, £375. Saleable value, £1009. 14s. 0d. Annual value, £375. (3) The impropriate tithe rentcharge in sundry townships in the parish of Mold co. Flint commuted in the year [blank] at £1691.12s. 4d. and valued in 1855 at £1538.17.5d. Saleable value, £25, 262. Annual value, £1538.17s.5d. Total gross annual value, £5,186. 17s. 5d.
