Quitclaim from Robert Shipley of Couentre merchant, Geoffrey Allesley of Grenburgh' [Grandborough, co. Buckingham], William Wymondeswold' of Couentre and William Donyngton' son of Richard Donyngton' to Thomas Cokkus of Couentre passenger of lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services, meadows, pastures, feedings, with woods, hedges, ponds, ditches and appurtenances which the grantors held, together with the said Thomas by the gift of Robert Rent alias Halughton' of Couentre barbour. To hold the same for ever. Sealing Clause. Witnesses: Henry Burdet; John Saundur; Walter Peche; Walter Goodman; Richard Clerk and others. Given at Baddesley Clynton' 5 June 6 Henry V [1418]. Four seals of brown wax places tandem wise on two tags. 3/4 in. 1. Within an octagonal border the letter R. 2. Within an octagonal border the letter A under a canopy or crown. 3.
