Description

Gift from William son of Richard de Berton' to John Dounforel of Kenilleworth' and Elizabeth his wife of all lands and tenements belonging to the said William in Baddesleye together with the reversion of lands which William de Nunneleye then held of the grantor for the term of his life. The said John and Elizabeth and their lawful heirs to hold the same from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, with the condition that if the said John and Elizabeth died without such heirs, the said lands were to pass to the rightful heirs of the said John. Warranty clause Sealing clause. Witnesses: John Symely; William de Beulton'; Walter his son; Thomas le Hunte; Richard Houl; Thomas le Hampton'; William de Nunleye and others.
