Copy (extracted from PCC Register) will (proved 6 February 1781) of Henry Turbitt, Luddington, Old Stratford, gent. All real estate to trustees (William Eaves, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., John Preston, Stratford-upon-Avon, surgeon and William Lord, Stratford-upon-Avon, wheelwright) until son, John Hathaway Turbitt is 21. Personal estate to trustees as above, but until John Hathaway Turbitt is 21 they to sell and invest and pay legacies. 1) Interest on £400 to sister Elizabeth Lord for life then principal sum equally among her children. 2) Interest on £100 at 5%, to kinsman John Tissell the elder, Walsall, Staffs., saddler, for life, then principal sum to his son Henry Tissell or daughter Sarah if Henry d.v.p. 3) Interest to be used for maintenance of John Hathaway Turbitt during minority. If John Hathaway Turbitt dies under age, real estate to testator's nieces and nephew, Mary Lord, William Lord and Elizabeth Lord, as tenants in common, and personal estate in equal shares.
