Description

Gift from James de Clinton' to John de Pesham for his service, of one croft in Baddesl' called Pappelei croft next to the land of the said James which was formerly held by John the reeve `prepositus' on the one hand and the land held by John de Haydon' on the other, extending in length from the wood called Haywodeparc as far as the highway leading from Baddesl' towards Warr'. To hold the said croft for ever with the surrounding hedges and ditches now being made, which said ditch shall be seven feet in width towards the said park, rendering annually 1d. in lieu of all services and suit of court.
