Feoffment from Richard White of Rowington husbandman and Elizabeth his wife to Richard Byrde of Rowington gent. of a messuage, lands and appurtenances in Rowington in the occupation of the said Richard White, a croft of pasture in Clynton and Rowington called the Greene field lying between the pasture of Henry Ferrers esq. called the Great Greene field on the one side and the lane leading towards Baddesley House on the other, and stretching from a piece of ground called Brownesgrove on the west to a place called Gilberds stile on the east, Also two crofts in Rowington and Baddesley, one lying by a pale called Baddesly pale on the one hand and a lane leading from the said messuage towards Brownesgrove on the other, the other croft lying between the ground belonging to the parish of Rowington on the one hand and the lane leading to Baddesley House on the other, together with woods and appurtenances, and all the lands of Richard White formerly the inheritance of William Byrde, father of the said Richard, the deeds of the said property to be delivered to the said Richard Byrde in the porch of the parish church of Rowington, on or before the feast of St. Thomas the Apostle [21 December]. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Warranty clause.
