Rowington and Baddesley Clinton

Release by way of assignment from Fulwar Skipwith of Broome Courte esq. to George Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton esq. of a messuage, orchard, garden and two closes of pasture at the back of the said messuage in Rowington adjoining a pasture of Henry Ferrers esq. father of the said George called Byrchee field in Baddesley Clinton, one close of pasture in Rowington with a cottage erected on the same in the tenure of Clement Lucas and one close of pasture in Baddesley Clinton called the Greene field in the tenure of the said Clement Lucas together with all appurtenances relating to the same, which lands were purchased by Edward Ferrers esq., father of the said Henry, from Richard Hodgkins and Eleanor his wife by an indenture dated 17 January 1636/7 (see DR3/488) and mortgaged by the said Henry Ferrers to the said Fulwar Skipwith on 5 June 17 Charles II [1665] to secure £80 plus interest for the term of 200 years. Endorsed: [c.1839] AD 1670 24th August 1670 Assignment Fulwar Skipwith to George Ferrers of a messuage and Lands in Rowington and Baddesley (purchased by Edward Ferrers Father of Henry Ferrers of Richard Hodgkins and wife in January 1636/7) formerly demised by way of mortgage for 200 years for securing £84 and interest - on payment by said George Ferrers of said £84 and interest - to said F.
