24 June 1715 Copy Will of Nicholas Chamberlain of Bedworth, clerk, with inter alia, bequests to niece Mary, wife of Thomas Allatt, coachmaker and citizen of London, and their children, of money and estate at Alveston, charged with payment of 40 shillings p.a. to poor of Whitnash. 1740-1827 Deeds re same estate, including 25/5/1740 Will of Chamberlayne Allat of Mortlake, Surrey, gent., son of Mary and Thomas. Land = house, 3 barns, 'Tiddington Close', 'Jobs Close', 'the Ham' and 3 1/2 yard lands in common fields. Will of Philip Peers, Chancery Lane, gent., 29 Dec 1750, proved 22 Oct 1751. Will of Edmund Peers, Southampton, esq., 27 Jan 1763, proved 3 April 1766. Will of Newsham Peers, Alveston, 1 May 1797. Administration of James Newsham of Paris, 12 September 1827.
