Description

Quitclaim from Mary Townsend of Alveston, spinster, to Thomas Townsend of Toddenham, co. Glos., gentleman, her brother, for £170 18s 6d (being half the value of the personal estates of their late father, Thomas Townsend of Alveston, gentleman, and of their late brother, John Townsend of Alveston, gentleman, to the whole of which they were entitled as tenants in common) of all her right in the personal estate of her said late father and brother. Covenant by Mary Townsend on the payment to her by the said Thomas Townsend of a further £875, to convey to him her half share in all the messuages, lands and other real estate of their late father, to which they were entitled as tenants in common under his will.
