Description

Gift in frankalmoign with warranty from Stephen de Burthingbur' to the church of the Blessed Mary of Stanl' and the monks there serving God, of all his lands, tenements, rents and services in Kyngeshulle, namely one messuage and nineteen and a half acres of land in the fields of Kynggeshulle which he had by the gift of Elizabeth le Noreys of Waure and Elena her daughter, together with the services due to him from tenements which Philip son of John Henr' of Kynggeshull' holds in Kynggeshull', which he had by the gift of the said Elizabeth and Elena; and a messuage with a croft in Kyngeshull', which he had by the gift of Susan de Kyngeshull', of which the messuage lies between a tenement of Roger de Hull' and the tenement of William de Lalleforde, and the croft between a croft of Roger de Hull' and the croft late of Richard Nicholes; also twenty-six selions of arable land in the fields of Kynggeshull', which he had by the gift of Roger son of the said Susan, as follows: in le Brokesfeld, twelve selions, of which one selion lies on the furlong called Vernihom next land of the said abbot, two roods in le Middelfurlong next land of Margery de Ballescote, one selion on the furlong called Brodemeduwe next land of the said abbot, one acre on Beselowe next land of John Henr', one half acre on Portebrugge next land of Richard Johannis, half an acre on le Lowefurlong' next land of Margery de Ballescote, two roods on le Schortfurlong' abutting towards the well next land of the said abbot, two roods in le Brocfurlong' at le Whassingstide next land late of John Henr', two roods on Nechul next land late of Elias de Hull', half an acre at le Bruggeyhate in length next the hedge, one acre in le Brocfurlong next land of the said abbot and half an acre, called le Brodlond, next land of John Henr'; in the Little Field, nine selions of which two roods lie at le Hurne, towards Fynhamgrene next land of John Henr', one acre on le Breche next land of the said abbot, two roods on le Longlond' next land of Philip Henr', half an acre on le Sladefurlong' next land of the said abbot, and one butt next the road from Bathkynton'; and in Wodefeld six selions, of which two roods lie below Foxenhulle next the land of Philip Johannis, half an acre on le Moor next land of John Henr', half an acre on Foxenhull' next land of the said John, two roods below Foxenhulle next land of Roger de Hull', half an acre on le Otelond next land of John Henr', half an acre on le Ryecroft next land of Philip Johannis and half an acre on le Blakemor next land of the said Philip.
