Draft conveyance by John Hitchman, S/A, currier and Robert Bell Wheler, gent., Thomas Woods Weston, gent., and John Stephens, Alcester, innholder, to James Hiam, Alcester, bricklayer, for £231.10s.Od to Wheler and Hitchman as executors of Robert Fletcher, Preston-on-Stour, farmer, deceased, and £1528.9s.4d to Thomas Woods Weston of two messuages (formerly a farmhouse) with barn, workshop, stables, yards etc. at the top of Henley Street in Hell Lane [Henley Lane/Windsor Street] on the Townsend, [nos.29-30], one of which was lately occupied by William Hemings and now by Mrs. Branfoot [or rather Bradford] and the other by Joseph Mills; with a close of 2 acres on the west side, the premises bounded on the east by Tithe barn rick yard, on the south by a footpath from the Birmingham Road to Hell Lane, on the west by [Arden Street] and on the north by an old enclosed ground late Samuel Smith then William Roberts and his devisees, which close belonged to ancestors of Samuel Smith, then held by William Hemings, now James Hiam and 4foot right of way from SW corner of rick yard over Brick Kiln Close.
