Indenture of bargain and sale by Sir Thomas Porter of Over Eytington, co. Warwick, Richard Porter his son and heir and Sir Robert Poynes of Iron Action, co. Gloucs., Knight of the Bath to ffoulke Knottisford of Studley, co. Warwick, esquire, in consideration of £1200, of the fourth part of the manor of Studley, co. Warwick and the messuages and lands as follows, viz: the messuage then or late in the occupation of Robert Cooper, the close of c.4 acres, the close adjoining the grounds of John Bankes, the Longe Orchard, the close next to it and the meadow lying along the Brookeside called Wasford, all then or late in the occupation of Robert Cooper, the messuage occupied by John Lawrence, weaver, the close adjoining the Brooke, the arrable land in the common fields of Studley called the Hadewayes and c.2 acres of arrable land lying in Woltland, all then or late in the occupation of John Lawrence, the tenement of c.1 acre, the meadow ground lying in Castell meadowe and 1 acre of meadow ground lying in the More, all then or late in the occupation of Richard Basford, five acres of arrable land near Cane milles late in the occupation of Thomas Hobday, Barbers feild of c.16 acres and the ground lying between the River of Arrowe and a foard called Washefoard, then or late in the occupation of Thomas Dewes, butcher, the close known as the greate Dunstall, then or late in the occupation of John Perkinson, husbandman, the close known as the Little Dunstall, then or late in the occupation of Christopher Edes, two closes called Dunstalls adjoining a great coppice or wood called Whitelenche then or late in the occupation of Richard Eyres als.Digger, the close called Little Dunstall then or late in the occupation of Thomas Walker and the pasture called the Longe furlonge then or late in the occupation of Thomas Dewes and Richard Dewes, except and always reserved the lands called Studley parkes occupied by Thomas Dewes and all messuages and lands in the occupation of Robert Willis, Walter Clarke, George Griffin and [blank] Lucas, widow, ffoulke Knottisford to enjoy peaceable possession of the properties without let or disturbance of Sir Thomas and Richard Porter or of any person claiming under them or under Symon Porter esquire deceased, father of Sir Thomas.
