Grant by William son and heir of Roger le Carpenter of Stretford upon Avon to John de la Cornere and Agnes his wife and their heirs of his house in Stratford built as a grange in le Merestrete between the lands of John de la Cornere and Thomas de Codeston', containing in length 36 feet and in breadth 12 feet Witnesses: Alan de Shotrythe, prepositus, John Frere and John Edemay, `cachepolles', William de Vtlicote, John Dyen and others Dated at Stretford upon Auen, Monday after the feast of the Translation of St. Thomas the Martyr, 21 Edw.III Seal of white wax, circular: A hawk pouncing upon a duck.
