Probate copy of the will of Richard Molineux of Stratford-upon-Avon, scrivener, dated 4 April 1669, bequeathing to John Townsend, William Gibson, William Challoner and Thomas Townsend, gentlemen, and to his father, John Molineux, his house in High Street wherein he now dwells, with all his personal estate; to hold the same in trust to sell and to apply the profits of the sale to the upbringing of his four daughters, Anne, Katherine, Mary and Elizabeth; and if enough money can be raised to provide for the daughters without the sale of the house, then he bequeaths the said house to his eldest daughter, Anne, on her reaching the age of 21, provided she pays £40 apiece to her younger sisters on their reaching the age of 21. Will proved at the Peculiar Court of Stratford-upon-Avon.
