Copy will of John Pearce of Stratford-upon-Avon, watchmaker, bequeathing his messuage in High Street, where he now resides, together with his stock in trade and household goods, to his wife Susannah Pearce for life, with reversion to his daughter, Ann Pearce for life or until her marriage, and, after her marriage, to his said daughter, and his sons, William, Henry, Edward and Thomas, as tenants in common. Appointment of the said Susannah Pearce and William Canning of Stratford-upon-Avon, draper, as executors. Codicil dated 27 May 1853, naming as executor his son, Henry Pearce of Grantham, co. Lincs., clock and watchmaker. Date of probate not given, but annexed is an affidavit of Edmund Price, dated 20 June 1855, concerning the codicil to the will of the late John Pearce.
