Description

Quitclaim by John Edmay `barbur', son of Richard Edmay of Stretford formerly `Ilymaker', of a half burgage in Stretford in Swynestrete between a tenement of the Gild of the Holy Cross and land of John Shelton, to the said Gild of the Holy Cross and Roger Pagete, master, Thomas Grene, `bocher' and John Brygthwell, walker, proctors of the same, and of all actions against the said Roger and the said Gild, and binding himself in the sum of £10 not to disturb the said Roger or any master of the said Gild with reference to the said half burgage Dated at Stretford, 10 February, 8 Edw.IV Witnesses: Robert Hobday `balyve', John Yong' and Thomas Wever `subballys', John Eyers and Thomas Dabys `constabels', John Hannys, with very many others Seal lost
