Copy of a conveyance from John Gamaliel Lloyd esquire, Thomas Hunt and Thomas Creswell gentleman, three of the five commissioners named in a commission of bankruptcy, dated 16 November 1822, against James Ward of Stratford-upon-Avon stationer, dealer and chapman, to Thomas Ashwin of Stratford-upon-Avon mercer and draper, and William Hemings of the same surveyor, assignees of the real estate of the said bankrupt chosen at a meeting of creditors held this day, of a freehold messuage and shop with outbuildings in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon in the tenure of the said James Ward; to hold in trust to sell the same and to pay the purchase money to the said commissioners who will distribute it amongst the creditors. Witnesses: Hen. Wyatt, Jno. Elliott. Enrolled in Chancery 6 February 1823; copy made and attested on 4 May 1824 by W. Tibbits the younger and John Wheeler.
