Conveyance by lease and release from William Halford of Alveston, gentleman, with the consent of Rev. Robert Eyres Landor of Hitchenden, co. Bucks., clerk, John Jackson of Wroxall, gentleman, Thomas Halford of Talton Mill in Tredington, gentleman, Charles Lamb of Warwick, hat-manufacturer, Joseph Redfern of the same, plasterer, and James Molony of Kiltanon, County Clare, Ireland, esquire, to the Rev. Henry Harding of Alveston, clerk (a trustee for William Judd Harding, esquire, of the East India Company), for £4400 paid by William Judd Harding to Robert Eyres Landor, of three closes of land in Alveston called Hither Broadway and Townsend Corner (20a 2r 16p), Middle Broadway (11a 1r 19p), and North Barn Ground (8a 0r 5p), adjoining one another from north to south, and bounded on the north by the turnpike road leading from Stratford to Wellesbourne, on the west by land of William Judd Harding and on the south and east by land of William Halford to be sold to James Molony; also an assignment from Henry Eyres Landor of Warwick, gentleman, with the consent of the above parties, to Kelynge Greenway of Warwick, gentleman, of the residue of an unexpired term of 1000 years in the said premises, to hold in trust to attend the freehold and inheritance of William Judd Harding; with the following recitals: i) 26 and 27 September 1817: conveyance from Henry Roberts, esquire, and Henry Robbins, gentleman, to the said William Halford and his trustee (William Court, gentleman) of, amongst other things, the above premises ii) 28 and 29 September 1817: mortgage from William Halford and his trustee to Robert Eyres Landor of the said premises, to secure £4000. For further assurance Henry Robbins assigned to Henry Eyres Landor an unexpired term of 1000 years in the said premises, to hold in trust for Robert Eyres Landor iii) 16 December 1820: mortgage from William Halford and his trustee, to John Jackson, of the said premises to secure £2000 iv) 28 and 29 June 1822: further charge from William Halford to Robert Eyres Landor on the said premises to secure £1400 v) 8 April 1823: assignment from William Halford to Thomas Halford of any surplus money (arising from the sale of the said premises after the above mortgages had been repaid) to repay a debt of £8000 vi) 30 July 1824: assignment from William Halford to Charles Lamb of the surplus money (arising from the sale of the said premises after the above debts had been repaid) to secure £1000 vii) 6 April 1826: assignment from William Halford to Joseph Redfern of the surplus money (arising from the sale of the said premises after the above debts had been repaid) to secure £1600 viii) that William Halford had contracted with James Moloney for the sale of the greater part of the said premises, and that he had contracted with the said William Judd Harding for the sale of the said three closes Plan annexed.
