Assignment from Francis Alexander the elder of Warwick, hatter, and Thomas Collins of the same, grocer (executors of the will of Benjamin Alexander late of the same, grocer and hatter, which said Benjamin married Elizabeth, now deceased, one of the daughters of John Cox late of Alcester, maltster, deceased, who was named as sole executrix in the will of her said father), with the consent of Charles Floyer of Hints., co. Staffs., gentleman (son and heir of John Floyer late of Kinwarton, deceased), to Charles Oakes of Tamworth, co. Staffs., gentleman, of a term of 500 years created by a mortgage of 15 July 1760 [no. 1], to hold in trust to attend the freehold and inheritance of the said Charles Floyer. Recitals: i) 15 July 1760: no. 1 ii) 22 October 1775: death of John Cox iii) marriage of Elizabeth Cox and Benjamin Alexander iv) death of John Floyer v) that the sum of £100 had been repaid some time ago
