Feoffment from William Smith of London, yeoman, son and heir of Richard Smith of Mottistone in the Isle of Wight, clerk, to John Smith of Stratford-upon-Avon, ironmonger, for £40, of a cottage in the tenure of Thomas Lawrence in Meere Street, alias Meere Side, Stratford-upon-Avon, between the land of Elizabeth Quyny widow, the land of John Smith draper, the land of Stratford Corporation, the land of William Smith and the said street; also a curtilage in the said town whereon three tenements and a barn stood, lately destroyed by misfortune, bounded by the street called Wood Street, land lately belonging to the dissolved College of Stratford-upon-Avon, land of Stratford Corporation, land in the tenure of Thomas Knight, and the street called Ely Street, alias Swynes Street; which curtilage is now in the tenure of Richard Collins and Richard Baker.
