Conveyance from John Lord of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman (son and heir of Richard Lord, late of the same), with the consent of Mary Edwards of Stratford-upon-Avon (widow of William Edwards of the same, deceased) and of the children of the said William Edwards (William Edwards, cordwainer, Avery Edwards, cordwainer, and Hannah his wife, Ann wife of William Sharshaw, labourer, Samuel Edwards and Mary his wife, and Thomas Edwards and Sarah his wife, all of Stratford-upon-Avon, and George Edwards of Bicester, carpenter, and Mary his wife), to Robert Hobbes of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, (reciting DR316/23-26 and that John Edwards named in DR316/26 had since died, and that the name Edward Edwards also included in 26 had been inserted by mistake) for £150 (£45 to John Lord and £105 to the said Mary Edwards, William Edwards, Avery Edwards, Anne Sharshaw, Samuel Edwards, Thomas Edwards and George Edwards) of a messuage in Ely Street now in the tenure of Mary Edwards, with several cottages adjoining thereto in the tenures of Benjamin Edwards, Avery Edwards, William Sharshaw and Thomas Kamp.
