Description
Deed to declare the uses of a fine to be levied between William Tibbatts of Birmingham, baker, and William Shakespeare of Knowle Hall, and Anne his wife, formerly Anne Ives, of a capital messuage formerly called the Parsonage House and now Rowington Hall, late in the tenure of William Ives and now of Thomas Ferrers and a moiety of a messuage built by Richard Betham and other lands in Rowington (specified) inherited from his father-in-law, William Ives (see DR434/4): namely that the said fine shall be to the use of William Tibbatts in trust for William Shakespeare to enable him to sell or mortgage the same to discharge debts on the estate.
