Conveyance by lease and release from Sir John Swinnerton Dyer of St. James' Street, Westminster, 6th bart., Thomas Dyer of Park Street, Westminster, esq., and Elizabeth Dyer of Leicester Square, Westminster, spinster, devisees named in the Will of their father Sir Thomas Dyer, late of the parish of St. John the Evangelist in Westminster, bart., deceased, to William Brown of Hinckley, co. Leics., woolstapler, (reciting the said will, dated 13 January 1777, whereby the said Sir Thomas devised his estates in Warwickshire to his said children in trust to sell) for £6350, of the manor of Stretton Baskerville with its appurtenances in Stretton, Shelford, Burton Hastings and Hosentrill, a messuage and 118a 3r 18p of land (field-names) in Hydes Pastures late in the tenure of William Mortimer and now of Joseph Spires, a messuage and 172a 2r 24p of land (field-names) in Stretton Baskerville, late in the tenure of Thomas Ashmore and now of his son, Thomas Ashmore, and 20a 3r 37p of land (field-names) in Stretton Baskerville, late in the tenure of Robert Campion and now of Robert Timson.
