Indenture of lease by Katherine Hykeman, daughter of Nicholas Hykeman of Stretteford, `in pura viduitate sua', to Thomas Hykemon [He is called Thomas ffurbur in BRT1/2/338.] of Couentre, burnisher (fforebur') her son, of all her lands and tenements in the town of Stretteford and in the field of Shottereth iuxta Stretteford upon Auen, for term of the life of the said Katherine, rendering annually a rose at the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist Witnesses: Thomas Compton, John Reynald, Nicholas Savcer, Ralph Savcer, all of Stretteford, Walter Golde[s]myth, Walter Culle, John Bouere `sporyour', William Mannynges `cutteler', Roger Dandy, all of Coventry, and others Dated at Stretteford upon Aven, 5 February, 14 Richard II Seal of red wax, circular.
