Counterpart of lease, indented, from John Clopton master of the Gild of the Holy Trinity, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. John the Baptist of Stratford upon Aven, John Barnard, baker, and John Tetersale, `weuer', proctors, with the assent of John Hannys, Roger Pagette, Reginald Flecher, John Gylberte, John Wager, Thomas Walker, John Bryghtwell and Richard Walker, aldermen of the same Gild, to Thomas Corbette of Stratford `barbour', and Alice his wife and a son called [blank] of a tenement in Stratford in Hystrete between a tenement in which John Hannys then dwelt and a tenement of Roger Pagette in which Richard Walker, corveser, then dwelt; for term of their lives, at an annual rent of 12s. and to keep the buildings in good repair Witnesses: Roger Pagette `capitalis ballivus ville', John Gilbert and Thomas Dawbys, `constabularii', William Roose and William Brewes, `subballivi', and others Dated at Stratford in the Hall of the Gild, on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 13 Edward IV Seals: (1) Of red wax, oval.
