Pebworth and Broad Marston, an assignment

Description

Assignment from Giles Whatcott of Blockley, co. Worcs., silk-throwster, with the consent of Nathaniel Goodwin and Anthony Goodwin of Long Marston yeomen, to Peter Haines of Aston Subedge, co. Gloucs., blacksmith, in trust for Thomas Haines of Westington, co. Gloucs., reciting a mortgage dated 8 September 1731 (no. 9), an assignment of the said mortgage dated 24 April 1734 from William Yeate to William Taylor of the Inner Temple, London, esq., and a subsequent assignment dated 16 October 1735 to the said Giles Whatcott, in consideration of £245 9s. 0d. paid by Thomas Haines and 5s. by Peter Haines, of the residue of a term of 1000 years in three quarters of a yardland in Broad Marston and Pebworth known as Keyes or Robbins and a close of pasture in Broad Marston known as Yellowes.
