Pebworth and Broad Marston, a lease and release

Description

Lease and release, being a settlement, from Peter Haines of Alcester baker, who married Jane one of the daughters and co-heiresses of Samuel Dobbins late of Alcester grazier, to William Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon gent. and John Wilkes of Coughton gent., reciting that the said Samuel Dobbins by his will dated 27 September 1766 directed that proper settlements be made by his sons-in-law Thomas Morris of Alcester baker, who married Elizabeth the other daughter and co-heiress of the said Samuel, and the said Peter Haines upon his (Samuel's) daughters, and reciting that the said Jane Haines had since died, and that by indentures of lease and release of even date one moiety of a messuage and premises in Alcester is conveyed to the said William Hunt and John Wilkes as trustees, in part provision for the issue of the said Jane; it is now witnessed that for 10s. the said Peter Haines conveys to the said trustees, in trust for himself and the issue of the said Jane, his late wife, three quarters of a yardland in Broad Marston and Pebworth known as Keys or Robbins and a close of pasture in Broad Marston known as Yellows now in the occupation of Samuel Tisoe.
