Description

Will dated 1 September 1841 and codicil dated 30 September 1842 of John Hitchman, Stratford-upon-Avon, currier, bequeathing newly erected premises in Bridge Street in which he dwells [No. 26] to his daughters Ann Hitchman and Sarah, wife of Robert Wincott, farmer, for their lives, with remainder to right heirs. To daughter Sarah, 2 messuages at top of West Street, Warwick and all other premises in Warwick. To daughter Ann, lands along the Warwick Road in the occupation of testator and William Kemp, together with building lately erected thereon in the occupation of William Kemp, for life with remainder to her heirs. To son Thomas Hitchman premises in Middle Row wherein testator lately dwelt together with premises in Wood Street and at Claverdon. Pecuniary bequests and residue of personal estate to daughters. Son Thomas executor. Codicil: Charges premises in Middle Row with payment of £10 annuity to daughter Ann Hitchman. Will proved 1 May 1843.
