Marriage Settlement of John Greenway, Stratford-upon-Avon, carpenter and Eliza Ann Wilkes, Stratford-upon-Avon, spinster. Trustees: Samuel Muscott, Banbury, Oxon., mealman and William Henry Wilkes, Pillerton Hersey, carpenter. Reciting: Will (12 Nov 1858) of John Lowe, Bidford, farmer, whereby he devised premises at Bidford to trustees Thomas King and Thomas Slatter directing them, after the death of his wife Anne, to sell and pay equally among testator's nephew William Wilkes and any nieces. At his death John Lowe left one nephew and 3 nieces of whom Eliza Wilkes is one. Now Eliza Ann, with approval of her intended husband, assigns to the Trustees her share expectant upon the sale of the estate at Bidford, after the death of Ann Lowe Upon Trust as soon as they shall receive the same to invest the monies so arising and to pay the interest to the said Eliza Ann for life and after her death to pay the principal sum equally to any children of the said intended marriage or their heirs at age 21 or marriage, applying interest during minority for maintenance. If no surviving issue, then for benefit of next of kin by blood of Eliza Ann.
