Oct 1866 Copies of papers with notices re claims against estate of Mary Newland. 1867 Account between Executors and residuary legatees of Mary Newland. 29 Sept 1826 Will of Richard Newland the elder, Stratford-upon-Avon, saddler: - £1400 to Thomas Mills, Stratford-upon-Avon, surgeon and son Richard Newland the younger In trust to invest and pay interest to wife Mary [formerly Parsons] for life or widowhood, then to distribute principal among testator's 4 children, Richard, Abraham, Mary and Elizabeth. - To son Richard: messuage with workshop and gardens where Testator dwells in Bridge Street, 2 cottages in Gild Pits at bottom of garden in the occupations of William Adams and James Dolphin. - To 4 children: The Dog Inn, Sheep Street, in the occupation of William Guy, 2 gardens in Payton Street, in the occupations of Testator and Thomas Swain, Close of 5 acres in Maidenhead Lane purchased of Mr. Fetherston. - To sons Richard Abraham: stock in trade and tools equally. - Residue of estate equally among children, though shares of Richard and Abraham to be reduced by value of Bridge Street property and stock in trade.
