Large volume inscribed: `Folio A: sketches, drawings and watercolours mostly by Caroline Amelia (wife of William Henry, Lord Leigh)'. The paintings, loosely inserted, relate mainly to Continental journeys, and are dated between 1863 and 1906. The subjects include Chateau de Chaument, Menton, Chenonceaux, Chateau de Peyrau (near Vichy), Blois, Bourges, Florence, Nismes, Ghent, Bruges, Chateau d'Arques (near Dieppe), Schwabach, St. Gothard, Verona, Amiens, San Remo, S. Raphael, Turin, Le Mans, Neufchatel, Villers Sur Mer, Carrara, Fontainebleau, Lerici, Chateau de Bonneville, Avignon, Cogoletto (near Genoa), and Caen. The English and Scottish views include Newstead, Edgehill, Dunrobin, Old Lizard Head, St. Michael's Mount, Temple Balsall, church, Hamstall Ridware, Winchelsea, Exeter.
