Draft release by way of marriage settlement between Rebecca Gilkes, Sibford Gower, spinster and Thomas Soden, Sibford Gower, yeoman, settling on trustees Michael Pettipher, Sibford Ferris, farmer and Francis Findon, Shipston-on-Stour, gent., farm house and 80 acres in Sibford Ferris in occupation William and Mary Gilkes, together with £700 debt due upon mortgage of same by Benjamin Preedy to Rebecca Gilkes, 17 Jan 1797. In trust for Rebecca Gilkes for life, then Thomas Soden for life then equally between any children. If none, to next of kin of Rebecca.
