Draft release by Edward Stanley, Tiddington, Alveston, gent. (eldest son and heir at law of Edward Stanley, Alveston, yeoman, deceased) and Mary his wife, with James Grooby, formerly Redditch, Worcs., now Wootton Wawen, Warks., gent. and Thomas Sheldon, Burmington, gent., to Joseph Plumb, Longdon, Tredington, yeoman, for £1800 of (1) farmhouse and 3/4 yard land and one messuage formerly two with 1/4 yard land in Darlingscott, formerly in occupation George Clarke now William Purser and which were purchased by Edward Stanley deceased, from John Claridge and (2) leasehold premises held by lease for lives, 1790, from Bishop of Worcester to Edward Stanley. Recital 2 3 March 1802 Marriage Settlement Mary Stanley, daughter of Edward Stanley the younger and John Mills, youngest son of John Mills of Billesley Hall, settling premises in Darlingscott on Grooby and Sheldon in trust for John and Mary, but reserving power to Edward and Mary his wife to sell during their lives.
