Deed quadrupartite made between William Vale of Coventry, clothier, July Shawe of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, Humphrey Wood of Stratford-upon-Avon, maltster, and Humphrey Webbe of Charlecote, yeoman, to lead the uses of a fine levied in Trinity Term last (DR237/8) of nine messuages in Stratford-upon-Avon: namely, that, of the said nine messuages, three in Elye Street alias Swyne Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, purchased by William Vale of John Edwards and Ann his wife, and Bartholomew Bull and Priscilla his wife, shall be held to the use of the said William Vale and his heirs for ever; that three messuages in Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, in the tenures of Elizabeth Allen, widow, John Woodward, and Samuel Burford, purchased by July Shawe of Francis Hicks of Shipston-upon-Stour, gentleman, and Judith his wife, shall be held to the use of the said July Shawe and his heirs for ever; that two messuages in Elye Street in the tenures of William Brookes and John Bucke, lately purchased by Thomas Biddle of High Clere, co. Hants., gardner, and Ann his wife of Roger Frankelyn of Beoley, co. Worcs., yeoman, and now purchased by Humphrey Wood of the said Thomas Biddle, shall be held to the use of the said Humphrey Wood and his heirs for ever; and that one messuage in Wood Street, Stratford-upon-Avon in the tenure of Thomas Wood, tailor, lately purchased by Humphrey Webbe of Thomas Tybbatts of Stratford-upon-Avon, tanner, and Margery his wife, and Thomas Dayves, husband of Elizabeth the only daughter of the said Thomas Tybbatts, shall be held to the use of the said Humphrey Webbe for ever.
