Description

Copy, made 20 May 1721, of the will of John Sadler of Fillongley, gent., with the following bequests: i) to his sisters Susanna Underhill, Frances Crookshak and Anne Frances, the messuage in which he lives in Fillongley, with the land belonging to the same; also three c,oses called Mawlands in Maxsocke [Maxstoke], now in the occupation of Michael Jeffry, with the house belonging to the same in the occupation of William Mills, with the further land belonging to the same in Fillongley in the occupation of John Lacye, for their lives ii) after the death of the said Susanna Underhill, one third of the said property to her daughter Elianor iii) after the death of the said Frances Crookshank, one third of the property to her sons John and George, and her daughter Mary iv) after the death of the said Anne Frances, one thord of the property to her children John and Mary v) after the death of the testator's mother, Mary Sadler, to his sisters, the said Susanna, Frances and Anne, two messuages and land in Chilvers Coton, now in the occupation of Edward Green; also a messuage with land in Fillongley now in the occupation of Richard Medes, which said messuage he inherited from John Hearsey and which is chargeable with the payment of £200 to Hearsey Crispe and Mary Crispe, son and daughter of Henry Crispe of the City of London, for their lives; to be divided as before after the deaths of the said Susanna, Frances and Anne with sundry minor bequests Susanna Underhill, Frances Crookshank and Anne Frances executrices
