Volume containing an attested copy of the will of Thomas Leech of Cockbury and Longwood, co. Glos., yeoman, dated 16 July 1793: to his housekeeper, Mrs. Ann Howman, for life, two messuages at Gotherington in Bishops Cleeve, co. Glos., which he purchased from his brother, Richard Leech and others; also a messuage at Woodmancote in Bishops Cleeve which was bequeathed to him by his father, John Leech and which he purchased of Margaret Brown; also a close of pasture called Bushcomb and another messuage in Woodmancote, also devised to him by his father and purchased by him of Thomas Leech; and after her death, he devises to his kinsman William Harman, son of Samuel Harman of Shurdington, co. Glos., yeoman, the said messuages in Gotherington and the messuage in Woodmancote purchased of Margaret Brown; to his nephew, John Leech, son of his late brother, John Leech, the close called Bushcomb and the other messuages in Woodmancote; to his niece, Elizabeth Leech, daughter of his late brother, William Leech, a messuage in Gotherington purchased of William Juggins. Pecuniary bequests to his to his nephew William Lawton, son of his sister Mary Lawton, his great-nephews Richard Leech, Thomas Leech and John Leech, sons of his nephew William Leech and grandson of his late brother John Leech, and to his nephew, Thomas Leech, son of his late brother William Leech. Appointment of John Greening of Langley, Thomas Spencer of Woodmancote and the said Ann Howman as executors. Proved in the Diocesan Court of Gloucester, 31 August 1793. Formerly Phillips Ms 20048.
