Abstract of title to an estate at Welford commencing with an indenture, dated 16 March 1640, between William Wells the elder of Welford, yeoman, Isabell his wife and Thomas their son and heir of the first part, John Wells of Binton, yeoman, and William Wells the younger of Alcester, two other of their sons, of the second part, Richard Moore the elder of Milcott, husbandman and Richard, his son, yeoman, of the third part, and Henry Bartlett of Welford, yeoman, and John Holtam the younger of the same, yeoman, of the fourth part and ending with a conveyance, dated 30 May 1807, from Joseph Marshall and Robert Fisher to Mary Anchor of Preston Bagot, widow. Two duplicate copies, to 1806 (23 folios) and to 1789 (21 folios) enclosed.
