Description

Will of Margaret Baughe, Twyning, Glos., widow. To be buried in church of Twyning to whom bequeaths 6/8 for repairs. Bequests of plate, household goods etc. to son Rowland, his wife Mary, grandson Edward Baughe, Susan Stretforde, Mary daughter Rowland; Alice daughter Rowland; son Thomas, his wife Elizabeth; Helena daughter of testator's son Robert, deceased; Joyce Yate; 'my sister Dyngley'; Joyce Fysher, servant Winefrid; Katherine Letche; Goodwife Lyver. Residue of estate equally twixt sons Rowland and Thomas. Rowland to have basic household furniture and Thomas one great chest. Son Thomas sole executor and residuary legatee. Overseers: son Rowland, son-in-law Ralph Parsons and nephew John Stevens. Son Rowland to have residue of lease of farm of Twyning. Witnesses: Richard Hunt, Vicar of Twyning; Richard Duke. Proved 26 September 1589.
